Science Day @ Pix Brook Academy 🧪🧫🌡🔬👩‍🔬👨‍🔬

A huge thank you to staff from Samuel Whitbread Academy Science Department who delivered an engaging and valuable experience to our pupils.

The Science Day was a very enjoyable event, with pupils participating in the following projects throughout the day, ably assisted by excellent Science Sixth Former's from SWA.

Biology; Testing foods for the presence of protein, fats and sugars
Chemistry; CSI investigation involving testing solutions for pH, fingerprint analysis and chromatography (analysis of the pigment of ink)
Physics; Bridge building and constructing free standing towers
