Ofsted Report
Dear Parents / Carers,
Please find attached a copy of the OFSTED report for PBA. As you know we were visited by two HMI and two inspectors from OFSTED on the 24th and 25th of January. OFSTED inspections are a rigorous process requiring all elements of the school to be reviewed.
I am pleased to say that the inspection went very well with an overall judgement of good. It is particularly pleasing that the inspectors noted how well our pupils behave and their attitude towards their learning. The judgement of Outstanding for Behaviour and attitudes is well deserved and is reflective of how well our pupils respond to the high expectations the school has of them. Your children deserve great credit for this and I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued support of the school in this area. It is only by working together that judgements at this level can be achieved.
It is also most gratifying that inspectors recognised some of the challenges faced by the school in growing so rapidly over the last few years by judging Leadership and management as Outstanding. Every member of staff at PBA has worked incredibly hard to ensure that our provision is of the highest calibre and that every opportunity is taken to ensure that what we provide is as good as it can be. Inspectors recognised the unique challenge faced by the school and its response to those challenges. I am immensely proud of the way all staff, both at the school and the Trust have worked so hard to provide the very best provision for our young people.
I understand that there is always more to be done but this report identifies that we are a good school and that we have made a very strong start to our journey.
Kind regards
Steve Adams
Principal
